Matteo Sgarzi is currently International Relations Manager (Chargé de Mission) at the Centre d’Etudes et de Recherche sur les Qualifications (Céreq). His extensive experience in education and training systems analysis and evaluation, as well as managerial work in the framework of a number of EU funded projects and international relations provide NQF-IN with high level expertise in the areas of qualifications analysis at the cusp of education and the work place. He has been involved in analytical and research work since 2001, in projects related to labour market dynamics, lifelong learning, students’ transition to the labour market and provides expertise in the areas of policy development, training and employment. He has worked in many international partnerships (involving Armenia, Adriatic cross border cooperation, Caribbean region, Morocco, Tunisia among others). In 2010-2011 he was on the Executive Committee of the European Forum for Student Guidance. Since 2015 he is member of French Steering Committee for Social Protection, Employment and Vocational Education (CORSEC), which helps to design French Government’s international cooperation strategy in this field.
